Since 2011, Joyson Electronic has expanded to overseas countries by acquiring Preh (Germany), QUIN (Germany), KSS (USA), and Takata (Japan). After the acquisition of Takata, the company became the second largest airbag supplier in the world. Currently, it focuses on four automotive electronics fields, including cockpit electronics, intelligent driving (LiDar, domain controller), e-mobility (BMS, power electronics), and safety systems.
