Apple to be hit by India's surprising restriction on notebooks and tablets imports

Ahead of the once-in-a-year festive season, India surprisingly announced the imposition of imported PCs, including notebooks and tablets, a move likely to discourage the imports of Chinese-made devices and encourage locally-made IT products.
