Abstract

The Foxconn-led Mobility in Harmony (MIH) consortium promotes an open source development platform for electric vehicles (EV) and provides reference designs for the global EV ecosystem.

There are 14 working groups in MIH. By organizing its members into working groups based on area of expertise, MIH looks to consolidate the resources and accelerate the realization of software-defined vehicles (SDV). MIH has designed a software architecture that accommodates all types of software and hardware platforms and simplifies automotive software development.

Foxconn's self-developed automotive operating system HHEV.OS enables flexible software-hardware integration. Foxconn will also apply to MIH to make HHEV.OS the standard for the MIH software open platform, which will allow MIH members and Foxconn to join forces and tap global market opportunities.
